Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS), in deutsch: Katechese des Guten Hirten e.V. Deutschland ist ein in Italien entstandenes, mittlerweile weltweites pfarrei-basiertes katechetisches Projekt für Kinder

Programm

• Die Basis der Katechese ist die Pädagogik Maria Montessoris (1870-1954)
• Die ungeplante Entstehung begann mit einer unerwarteten Begegnung von Dr. Sofia Cavalletti (1917-2011), Theologin und Alttestamentlerin, mit Gianna Gobbi (1919-2002), Schülerin Maria Montessoris, mit Kindern und Gottes Wort. Daraus entstand seit 1954 die Katechese.
